Summit on Wednesday morning in the Prefecture in Venice on the two concerts by Vasco Rossi, scheduled onJune 1st and 2nd close to the Bibione stadium. Prefect Darco Pellos, in the Committee for Public Order and Security, seems to have embraced the line on public order proposed by the deputy mayor and councilor for security and tourism, Pierluigi Grosseto, formerly head of the Carabinieri Norm in Pordenone.

Compared to what was already known, i.e. the use of bus to connect the car parks to the stadium, it is advisable to visit Bibione until late after the concert so as not to clog the streets. The summit also included the head of the local police of the Venice East District, based in Bibione, Matteo Cusan. The meeting allowed us to delve deeper into the aspects concerning the road trafficprolonged parking, the possibility of parking in special areas served by shuttle buses and the difficulties in the flow of outgoing traffic that characterize large events in tourist locations such as Bibione, which are already heavily frequented given the start of the summer season.

On the website of the Municipality of San Michele al Tagliamento (Bibione remains a fraction of San Michele) the information relating to the traffic regulation, contained in Ordinance number 71 of last Tuesday, and in the next few days the instructions relating to the parking + shuttle bus service to and from the Municipal Stadium, managed by the Park For Fun company, will be available.

There will be three dedicated parking areas, one in Piazza Mercato, one in via Maja and one in Bevazzana. To those who choose to visit Bibione on the weekend of 1 and 2 June, the Prefecture and municipal administration strongly advise you to travel early and calmly, also considering the possibility of reaching the location a few days earlier. As regards the post-concert flow phase, the invitation is to travel along the dedicated road arteries indicated in the maps attached to Ordinance no. 71, avoiding the risk of getting stuck in secondary streets, and to evaluate the possibility of extending for a few hours’ stay in Bibione, taking advantage of the many places already open and thus encouraging outgoing traffic.
