ROME, MAY 13 – The winner of the Eurovision Song Contest Nemo, competing for Switzerland, has placed his Th Code in the top 20 of Spotify. The last time he won Switzerland was in 1988 with Céline Dion and her song Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi. Nemo was already the favorite on the eve. With his sensational outfit and his commanding voice, which surprisingly transforms into a rousing rap flow, Nemo was cheered frenziedly by the audience from the first second on stage. With “The Code” the artist, who defines himself as non-binary, has written a fascinating and highly personal work of musical art that combines rap, drum ‘n’ bass and opera. The Code is somewhat reminiscent of Queen’s masterpiece Bohemian Rhapsody. Lyrically, it’s a tale of an age that celebrates self-love and encourages people to embrace their own path. Nemo also felt it was important to champion the entire LGBTQIA+ community with his performance as a genderqueer person. “The Code is about the journey I began with the awareness that I am neither a man nor a woman. Finding myself has been a long and often difficult process for me – says Nemo -.
