The readers of CremonaSport have elected the Madignanese Cycling as the best team of 2025. The amateur sports association of Madignanoa town in the Cremasco area, but structured above all in the city of Cremonais the team that obtained the most votes.
La Madignanese Ciclismo, a team that competes at a youth level in the world of cyclingcan boast, among its ranks, about fifty athletes, from 6 to 16 years old. 2025 was a particularly special year, given the second place nationally in the Team Beginners category. An extraordinary result, achieved above all thanks to Lorenzo Iazzia young athlete from Cremona, who placed first in Italy.
Madignano’s team has an important history, also judging by the young talents who have worn the team’s shirt. In fact, they passed through the Madignano area at a young age, David Garbelligold medalist at the European Track Championships in Brno in 2000, and multiple champion Federica Venturellia specialist both on the track and on the road and with cyclocross, as well as many other champions, such as Davide Maifredi and Kevin Bertoncelli.

This year we have worked well, obtaining excellent results also at a national level. This inevitably creates attractiveness, many other kids have also asked us to join the team, given that we have the Student and Junior categories, a rarity in the area. Iazzi’s journey has been incredible, he already has many requests from other teams, but at the moment we are enjoying it, at least for the next two years.”
