“It’s something I carried inside me but I didn’t have the courage to talk about it even to my best friend, my girlfriend or my parents because I was ashamed. When everything came out, without my wanting it, I had to talk about it.” So he talked to the Corriere della Sera Antonio Medugno who decided to denounce Alfonso Signorini and to publicize the chats with the host of Big Brother three years ago.
According to the complaint filed by his lawyers, Cristina Marrone and Giuseppe Pipicella, Signorini and Medugno met in March 2021 when he aspired to become a competitor of the Gf. Between the two, “a relationship via chat was born to which he says he responded at the suggestion of his manager at the time, today Fabio Baglivo follows him”, writes the Courier.
Medugno: “Perhaps Signorini feared that I had revealed his advances”
“He sent very strong, fiery messages which culminated in an invitation to his house. Piscopo told me ‘If you go to bed with him we’re ready to go and we’ll go to the GF, if you don’t go it will destroy your career’, but I would never have done it. I went to his house so as not to miss the opportunity to make him perceive that I was a good person, that I had other qualities, that I had values, convinced that for this reason he would make me work”, Medugno further said.
In the apartment “outside Milan”, he would have “suffered unsolicited and unwanted advances and physical contact. He states that, on Piscopo’s advice, he remained sleeping anyway, locking himself in another room, and that it was their only meeting”.
Until the first audition in May, other messages followed between the two but he did not enter the Gf and then the relationship was interrupted until January 2022, when he was then called back for another audition for which he then entered the reality show. “Perhaps because Signorini feared that I had revealed his advances,” commented the former competitor.
When Corona then published the episode on Signorini, Medugno “ended up in the media storm because of him and my old manager who sent him my chats. Corona apologized when I showed him the evidence that there had been nothing with Signorini”.
And to those who suggested that he broke the silence to gain publicity he responded firmly: “Until now I led a quiet life, I continued to have 3 million followers on TikTok and I had contracts with important fashion brands. I didn’t need such rubbish. I just lost it.”
