The Divine Codino explained: “People wondered where I had ended up but at the end of my career I felt the need to live simply, close to my family and my land. Then, recently, there was a very harsh episode. I’m talking about the home robbery suffered by six people in 2024: it turned my way of seeing things upside down. In those months, the desire was born in me to tell my family and my children more. They had to know who I really was, and that’s why we are here together today: it’s the fault of Valentina, my daughter. This experience has united us even more, we share many things that give new energy to our relationship. Being a parent is the most difficult task, we often make mistakes, but love for the family always comes out.”

Even Baggio’s eldest daughter, who has two younger brothers, Mattia and Leonardo, present in Dubai together with her mother Andreina, explained the change undertaken with her father: “I was the only one not at home when the robbery happened and I saw how my father reacted. It was a shock for all of us and so, nine months ago, we started to change something: we travel together, in Italy and abroad. Not all evils come with a silver lining: now I take care of dad’s social media and his communication. It makes me proud to see how many former footballers and his old teammates ask him for a photo with great emotion when they meet him.”
