The official unveiling of the new solution will take place in a few days, at the CES in Las Vegas, which is scheduled for next January 6th to 9th. Bosch is preparing to transform the car into a software-dominated system, and there’s a clear objective behind the new project. We want to integrate artificial intelligence to increase the interaction between those on board and the carand make this relationship, which will become increasingly frequent, even more natural. The aim is to make systems available to the user that can recognize our tastes, supporting those at the controls with an even more intelligent interface.

At the center of the project, as explained by Bosch itself, there is the AI ​​extension platform, a new computing unit which is designed to increase the capabilities of cockpit systems that already exist. This solution will be based on system-on-chip Nvidia Drive Agx orinwhich has a computing power between 150 and 200 TOPS. In this way, a large number of AI applications can be managed, and there will be no need to use a cloud. The revolution is served.
