With 140,000 units sold in Italy since its debut, the Hyundai i20 is renewed by introducing some new features to the range. The petrol engine makes its debut under the bonnet 1.0 T-GDi and 90 CVEuro 6E-bis approved, which replaces the previous units. Available with both gearbox manual with 6 gears which with theautomatic dual clutch 7DCT, on paper it looks like the perfect compromise between performance and reduced running costs.
The introduction of 2026 model brings with it a new structure of the range, which is now simpler and more rational. Two him installations available: Connectline and Prime, both combined with the 90 HP 1.0 T-GDi.
The setup Connectline includes, among other contents, 16″ alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, 10.25″ TFT LCD instruments, navigation system visible on the 10.25″ touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Bluelink telematics services and updates via wireless network (OTA), Bluetooth with voice recognition and audio controls on the steering wheel.
There is also a wide range of safety systems that are part of the “package” Hyundai SmartSense; automatic high beam management system, frontal anti-collision assistance with vehicle, pedestrian and cycle recognition, active lane center maintenance, driver fatigue detection, speed limit recognition and rear passenger presence warning.
At the top of the range is the trim level Prime which adds full LED headlights, 17″ alloy wheels, tinted rear windows, automatic climate control, electrically folding mirrors, premium interiors, ambient lights, electrochromic rear-view mirror and wireless smartphone charger.
