The municipal administration of Nibionno organized an important initiative, open to the entire community and beyond: the presentation of the book ”Tino Conti tells his story”, dedicated to sportsmen and fellow citizens. Appointment for Saturday June 22nd at 5pm in the multipurpose hall of the Cibrone oratory.
Here is a synopsis of the text: ”I am a former cyclist racer from the 60s and 70s and as a good pensioner I thought I would write my memories starting from my youth up to the end of my career. With a fairly rebellious character, I put my competitive career at risk, redeeming it in recent years thanks to the trust placed in me by the Zonca brothers and thanks to the support of my wife. The aim of the book is to make young people and their parents understand that to become champions you must have character but always within the limits of correctness, thus avoiding the mistakes I made. It is a simple story written by me with the aim of reviving the fabulous years of international cycling of the time with riders like Merckx, Gimondi, Motta, Ocana, Jansen, Fuente, De Vlaeminck Moser Baronchelli”.
At the end of the presentation there will be a convivial moment with an aperitif for all participants. The event is sponsored by the Municipality. Confirmation and registration via social media or email is welcome.
