Born in Milan to parents with Neapolitan origins, Castiello also brings the passion for rapper Geolier, his favorite listening before each game. He has two brothers, Christian and Denny, the latter goalkeeper: as a child, the two often trained together, with Alex kicking penalties, punishments and simulated one against one with his brother in the posts. Initially “conceived” as a real number 9, in recent years it has been deployed above all as a second tip or offensive external, roles in which it has shown great versatility. His refined technique and the flair of the goal distinguish him, as confirmed by the numerous goals made in the Nerazzurri youth, especially with the Under 13 of Giordani and then in the Under 15. Castiello, in fact, is capable of marking in every way: right, left and also of the head, showing a wide variety of offensive solutions.
Also important is his experiences in the national team, with appearances and goals from the Under 15 to the Under 18 led by the CT Franceschini, where he found the net in the last comparison with the Netherlands.
Now a new challenge in the Rossoneri shirt opens for Castiello. One thing is certain: AC Milan focuses strong on Di Luthe. And the goal, as communicated by the club, will be to approach it, more and more, to the first team.
