The jury involved in the process of Sean “Diddy” Combs, the famous US rapper accused of trafficking in human beings and of being the head of a criminal organization aimed at the sexual exploitation of dozens of people, has reached a verdict for four of the five formal accusations aimed at Combs, but not on the fifth. After consulting both with the prosecutors and with the lawyers of the defense, the judge of the trial, Arun Subramanian, asked the jury to continue to deliberate to reach a verdict also on the last charge: they will resume doing it on Wednesday.
The 12 jurors of the trial agree as regards two accusations of human beings, relating to the ex -Combs of Combs Casandra Ventura and another woman he attended (his identity was kept confidential, for her the pseudonym “Jane” is used). They also reached a verdict for the accusations concerning the crime of “transport for the purpose of prostitution” of the two women and other people. The accusation on which for now have not reached a unanimous agreement is that for which Combs would have been the head of a criminal organization.
