The introduction of hydrogen into an energy transition path represents a scope of strategic development for the FNM group, also engaged in the H2iseo Hydrogen Valley project in Val Camonica, dedicated to local public transport on iron and rubber. As part of the H2isee, within the first half of 2026, the commercial service of the first hydrogen trains in Italy will be started.: “The strategic plan of the FNM group – explains the president of FNM, Andrea Gibelli – fixed important energy efficiency objectives and reduction of emissions, to be achieved through the development of sustainable mobility systems”. In all, the project provides for a total investment of 55.4 million euros, financed by national and European funds allocated by the PNRR and the European Union, as part of the CEF Transport Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility (AFIF) program aimed at the decarbonisation of transport along the TEN-T (Trans-European Transport Network) network.
