GP ASSEN Race, Mir: “happy that Aldeguer is fine”

GP Assen Castrol Honda MotoGP 2025 – Joan Mir has not closed the Holland Grand Prix in Assen.

After the Holland Grand Prix in Assen, a tenth stage of the 2025 world championship, Joan Mir traced a sweet and sour balance of the weekend. The Honda team pilot expressed relief for the conditions of Fermanin Alduguer, involved in a bad fall during the race, and told how, despite a promising start with a competitive rhythm, the accident on the track has compromised its race. Also struck physically by the fall, Mir has hinted that he will have to evaluate the extent of his pains in the next few days before planning the recovery.

“First of all, I am happy that Fermanin is fine because it fell seriously and when you fall on the track, it is complicated. I was really happy with how my race had started, my lap times were close to those of the drivers in the head and I was recovering on the groups in front. Unfortunately I could not do anything to avoid the fall. It was a hard blow for me too, I have a lot of pain, so I will go home and check my condition in a few days.”
