Among the most appreciated animated series of recent times there is for sure Frieren: beyond the end of the journey and, at the anime Expo 2025, there was the way to see a trailer highly anticipated second season.
For the moment, the second season is confirmed for the distribution on Crunchyroll for the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and India, with an output scheduled for January 2026. The distribution on Crunchyroll internationally is scheduled simultaneously with that in Japan. There is no precise date yet, though.

Recall that Frienn: beyond the end of the trip it is based on the manga of the same name and follows the events of the owner Frienn, an Elf magazine capable of living for millennia: united with the hero’s company, he traveled for ten years to defeat the king of demons. Since then 50 years have passed and the humans of the company have died of old age. The Elf takes with him an apprentice sorceress and a young warrior and begins a journey following in the footsteps of that made with the company, to relive the past and reconnect through the memories to his companions and friends.
