The film is a mix of incorrectness, accidents, forcing today unthinkable. Otherwise the spectators would leave the cinema after twenty minutes. It’s a vintage movie

Brad Pitt confirms that with Formula One today it would be impossible to make a film
There is a figure that jumps into the eye after watching the film about Formula One with Brad Pitt (the direction is by Joseph Kosinski). The little original title is “F1 the film”. The data is that it has nothing to do with the contemporary Formula One, the one that unfortunately fans are forced to put up with. Without overtaking (or in any case very few). Without forcing. Also in the name of security, of course. The fact is that to make a film of over two hours and try to keep the spectators in the room, you have to make up for Formula One of the past: to that glimpse of incorrectness, unconscious overtaking, reckless maneuvers, fearful accidents that even bring the calendar back almost fifty years with the pilot saved from the flames, like Niki Lauda at the Nürburgring. Otherwise the film would not hold up.
The film goes without saying, it is not this monster of originality. It is the story of the old pilot, a former enfant prodige that survives a fearful accident while trying to overtake Ayrton Senna outside, and then falls into the spirals of life. He remains the passion of speed, experience and obviously being a son of good mom, a bad boy (Bad Man), one of those bad ones who are never so bad to put it at the Fossati/Bertè.
The point is not the film itself. The point is that Formula One of today would not offer any foam to cinematography. And in fact in the film Brad Pitt is a healthy bearer of Formula un vintage. The myth of beauty and cursed that contributed to keeping Rush (film of another category, of course) on the 1977 World Cup won by James Hunt on Niki Lauda who struggled against death. The character played by Brad Pitt forces the rules, becomes the protagonist of accidents to bring the Safety Car Enter (as Piquet’s son made on Briatore’s order to allow Hamilton to break the world championship to Felipe Massa). The old carrion of the trade. You know that balls with the perfect circus that I miss the swear words allows.
Kerry deserves a mention of the actress who we remember in this must be the place of Sorrentino, the boy’s mother, Rachel, the one who scams the hamburger a little and then says “unfortunately, it went like this”. In the film it is Brad Pitt’s Vasseur. We do not know if “F1 the film” will really break through the box office, in our opinion not. It is only the confirmation that if you want to bring the four wheels to the cinema, especially to American cinema, you have to return to Formula One of the past. The current one, except rare occasions, can be good for intensive care against insomnia.
