After the debut in the cinema with Not be bad by Claudio Caligari in 2015, Emanuela Fanelli (Rome, 6 July 1986) took part in films such as The last will be last, Solo, Blessed ignorance, Disarmed. On television the general public begins to know it thanks to the series Where is Mario?in which he starred next to Corrado Guzzanti, screenwriter of the series together with Mattia Torre, and as a co-conduct of the program A piece of lungeswhere he tests a surreal comedy and of great originality, becoming a point of reference for a new generation of spectators.
Participates over the years in programs such as Girls TV – General States, Jokes? and successful as standard as Call My Agent – Italia e NO Activity – nothing to report.
The film turning point comes with the film Drought by Paolo Virzì, presented at the Venice exhibition, in which he plays Raffaella, a role that is worth the David di Donatello 2023 to the first candidacy, as the best supporting actress. The following year he won a second David di Donatello in his second application for There is still tomorrowdebut for the direction of Paola Cortellesi, where she plays the role of Marisa, an intense figure who confirms her extraordinary ability to create authentic and complex female characters. In 2024 he returned to be directed by Paolo Virzì in the sequel to the historic film August holidays, Another mid -August.
Since 2016 she has been a fixed collaborator at the 610 radio program of Lillo and Greg broadcast on Rai Radio 2.
At the end of 2019 he was the protagonist of the video clip ImmigrantChecco Zalone’s song made for the release in theaters of his film champion film TELO TELO. He won a series of awards already at the beginning of his career, including the special mention for best actress and as the best monologue at the Festival Ciak, yes Rome! (in the jury Carlo Verdone, Daniele Luchetti and Lina Wertmüller) and the Best Actress of the 48H Film Project for her role in the short film A love movie.
He was the presenter of the 2021 edition of the Turin Film Festival, he held the role of narrator in the documentary The magnificent four of laughter (Benigni, Nuti, Verdone, Troisi) presented at the Rome Film Festival 2022.
In 2024 he received the Manfredi prize at the silver ribbons and in 2025 he took part in the film champion movie Madly by Paolo Genovese.
