The head of the beheaded corpse discovered on February 21, 2008 in a cardboard along themotorway of the Brenner It was found. The body for 17 years had remained without a name and only recently the Bolzano prosecutor had communicated the Cold Case solution: author of the crime, which took place in Germaniathe father -in -law of the victim, Alfonso Porporaof Sicilian origins. Now the new owner of the house where he once lived in Porpora, in Sontheim an der Brenz, in Germany, writes the local press, found a skull in the garden under the concrete slabs.
The story
To have the absolute certainty, however, it will be necessary to wait for the results of the DNA exam. The 61-year-old Alfonso Porpora, nicknamed by the German press the “Father-Killer of Sontheim”, was recognized as well as three murders, all with the same atrocious dynamic: first he strangled the victims and then stopped hiding the remains. Two of them were his companions of his daughter and for those crimes he is serving life imprisonment in German prisons. The remains found on the A22, reconstructed the investigators, are in fact those of Mustafa Sahin20 years old, German citizen of Turkish origins, son -in -law of purple.
The young man lived in Sontheim an der Brenz with his daughter and two young children. Porpora, always according to the local press, had forced the young man to marry his daughter when she was pregnant, but would never have accepted the son -in -law. The crime took place on February 13, 2008, but was discovered many years later. In fact, the father had forced his daughter to tell the investigators that Mustafa had voluntarily moved away. Porpora has not revealed the motive nor has he admitted for years that he had cut the head of the son -in -law until, already in prison in Ellwangen for the other two murders, he confessed. He said he loaded his body into the car and that he had abandoned him in Italy, between Rome and Naples. In reality he had roughly the big cardboard along the Brenner motorway, in South Tyrol.
The other crimes
The second crime was instead made in 2014. The victim was another daughter’s partner. Marco, this is his name, was brought to the garage by Porpora and his two children, where he was strangled, as Mustafa. After hiding the corpse in a freezer, he was dismembered with a chainsaw and the remains brought to Sicily and hid a forest near Enna. Finally, in 2018, the man also killed the owner of the garage he had rented. Before the purple crime and the two children had tied it to extort his signature on several contracts. The children are serving 9 and 15 years in prison, while the father was sentenced to life imprisonment. Only after the confession in prison, the Baden-Württenberg police understood that Sahin’s body could be that, still without identity, found years before in South Tyrol. At that point, he contacted the prosecutor and the mobile team of the Bolzano police headquarters, making himself sent the photos of the corpse: it was his wife, daughter of Porpora, who recognized him from the hands and clothes. The comparison with the DNA of the two children and parents gave definitive confirmation. Now, as soon as the confirmation of the DNA on the skull arrives, the case, tremendous as absurd, can definitively be closed.
