«Beatrice Luzzi was the character in the reality show – explained Marco Maddaloni to Non successor anymore -. She was the star performer from the beginning to the end. A character, as far as reality TV is concerned. Always on the front line, she too had to face bereavement. She has entered the house again but everyone deals with grief in a personal way. Maybe she needed to be in her company to continue a journey with her father who was still alive. I respect her choice. I still suffer from it today and in recent days it was my mother-in-law’s birthday and finding myself in that house without my father-in-law made me feel strange. I could have gritted my teeth and spent the last 20 days in the house but that pain is never forgotten. I had to be close to my wife. At that moment I couldn’t be anywhere else.”
The former Gieffino added: «A new, beautiful experience, with a slightly bitter ending but it’s part of life. What if I could get among the winners? Having already won Beijing and The Island of the Famous, in my own small way I brought with me an audience that over the years has shown affection towards me. Winning was the last thing on my mind.”
