In Malmo (Sweden), where the final will be held tonight, a protest demonstration was called this afternoon against Israel’s participation in Eurovision and for the end of the war in Gaza, a few hours before the final of the musical. Already in January a group of Finnish musicians had asked Yle to put pressure on the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to exclude Israel from the competition due to the situation in Gaza.
