Purple Like the Sea 2the TV series set in the vibrant city of Palermo, returns to Canale 5 with its second season, continuing to narrate the exciting events of the determined investigative journalist Viola, played by Francesca Chillemi, and her close-knit colleague, the police inspector Francesco Demir. Where were we
In the first episode, Viola deals with the uncertainties left pending at the end of the previous season. Disappointed at not being able to find her father and due to Demir’s escape during their romantic dinner, he decides to face life lightly. Meanwhile, the tragic murder that occurred in the home of the retired judge, affected by senile dementia, deeply touches Viola, who is moved by the love and dedication of the victim’s partner, who continues to take care of her despite his condition.
This intricate case, together with the attack of the doctor who ended up in a coma, sheds new light on an unexpected connection which involves the editorial staff of Sicilia Web News, leading Viola and Demir to explore new investigative paths that branch into increasingly complex areas. While the criminal world intertwines with the journalistic one, Turi’s character finds himself immersed in an increasingly precarious situation, after being expelled from home by his wife, which forces him to seek refuge elsewhere and face its difficulties individuals with courage and determination.
