During the seventh episode of The Island of the Famouson air Monday 6 May on Canale 5 and hosted by Vladimir Luxuria, the presenter divides the castaways into two groups, while new arguments arise. The leaders of the two teams are Greta and Samuel, who won the aspiring leader test last week. The fourth eliminated of this edition is Marina Suma. Supporting the presenter in the studio, as always, are the commentators Sonia Bruganelli and Dario Maltese.

In the new episode Valentina, Artur, Khady and Rosanna complain because a group – in particular we are talking about Samuel and Greta – commands and imposes everything it wants, with Lodi asking for clarity and sincerity. “They speak and make particular movements. A soap opera similar to The Bold and the Beautiful was born. They always decide what to do“, says the latter. “Don’t allow yourself to say things that aren’t true.”says Samuel when Rosanna insinuates that there is an affair between him and Greta because of the “marital thalamus” quoted by the cook. “They’re always close and have these five or six covers…”, adds the cooking lover. “I don’t decide anything, whatever needs to be done I make myself available. I am proactive, I have never dictated orders“, Samuel defends himself. Khady says she has never allowed herself to dictate to someone what to do, something that the dancer would do instead.
There are also those who think that Greta is a sort of teacher and talks about respecting the rules, points the finger at others, but then she is the first to take the coconut and make excuses, like “oh god, my head hurts” when there is work to do. Rosanna claims that she does nothing to save energy to win the tests. The dancer punishes herself by saying that she will not eat coconut for a whole week, while Matilde falls from the trunk on which they are sitting while Greta and Rosanna argue. Khady points out that Bruganelli is always ready to defend Greta as they are friends (“Go on holiday together“), and remembers that she stole the coconut and other things from the group but in recent episodes he attacked her over the issue of stealing food: “Why was she there judging me and putting me in that position?” Meanwhile Rosanna Lodi claims that Marina Suma is suffering from back pain from the fall a few episodes ago since she doesn’t do anything on the Island, but the actress responds by saying that she doesn’t care what she says, because she “fly high“.
Once the televoting is closed, it’s time to find out who is leaving the island: the first castaway saved by the public is Khady, followed by Arthur and Rosanna, while Marina is the fourth eliminatedand comments: “I’m happy to have come this far, because I’ve had and lived the experience. That’s fine with me. Unfortunately I had a problem with my back...” Vladimir Luxuria interrupts her: “A real problem with the back, let’s reiterate, we know about the medical tests“. We then discover that the mothers of the castaways – Alvina and Edoardo – and Juliana Moreira (wife of Edoardo Stoppa), unbeknownst to everyone, remained on the island to carry out a mission and obtain the rewards to bring to the group, overcoming it together , without ever arguing and always supporting each other, three women must now overcome a new test that concerns “live animals” (the test of the display cases, inside which there are the three keys useful for opening a chest), but only once they reach the beach of their loved ones: time trial passed, with Azzolina demonstrating great courage, Stefania scared (but she wants to avoid the test for Edoardo’s wife by taking her place, without however convincing the presenter). Juliana, on the other hand, is very scared as she has a phobia of small animals: in her case there are actually stuffed animals, but Luxuria still makes her more anxious saying that “they are very big“. The reward is 2 kg of flour.
Furthermore, there seems to be a certain chemistry between Khady and Artur: “I rediscovered and found a friend here. I had an opinion of him before I came in here and now I’m getting to know him better. And then don’t you also notice that it’s beautiful? [lo dice quando Vladimir le chiede se lo veda come un bell’uomo, ndr]“, says khady. “I keep sincere people close to me, she’s a beautiful girl, I’m getting to know her better but it’s just a friendship“. Joe Bastianich instead reveals that he is not good at managing emotions: “When I got here and met them, I realized I had nothing. I didn’t have super powers, I was a very normal person and then I closed down. Sometimes I am not an easy subject, I have always thought that what I am is not enough and that I always have to prove more. It’s an existential journey, I’m aware of my shortcomings and what I can do. I show emotions in other ways. I’m trying to bring home results for others but also for myself. I suffer a lot from my emotions, I see everything as mutual. I told myself that On the Island I have to evolve as a person“. After a funny confrontation between Joe (“Ignorant people must be allowed to speak“, he says) and Daniele, retired from reality but in the studio, begins the reward test: Samuel and Alvina have to dance a Bachata together, with Sonia Bruganelli, Dario Maltese and a professional dancer as judges. They win the challenge thanks to the kindness of the latter , because Dario gives a positive vote, while Bruganelli fails them as a couple. Afterwards, we witness an Italian exam in Aras with a subsequent reward (only for the two castaways): the canelao, a typical dessert. Joe Bastianich receives a sweet video message from mother: “I can’t wait to go back to see her, but give me some time to become a better person“. Furthermore, Valentina Vezzali remembers the moments spent with her father crying: “I’m sure that if my father were here today he would be proud of the person I have become“. Finally, Greta is keen to say that between her and Samuel there is nothing more than a friendship and that she has absolute respect for the dancer’s wife and children and for her boyfriend (she refers to Rosanna’s insinuations about a alleged flirtation).
Island of the famous, who is eliminated: result and televoting percentages
Last Monday 4 castaways ended up nominated: Khady Gueye, Artur Dainese, Rosanna Lodi and Marina Suma. During the seventh episode, Vladimir Luxuria revealed the result of the new televoting that produced the fourth competitor eliminated of the 2024 edition, that is Marina Suma.
