Immobile wants to stay at Lazio, should we expect anything else?
He declared it, we shouldn’t expect anything else. He is the captain of Lazio and the history of Lazio. On his part there has always been his will and he has always declared his love for the Biancocelesti colours, he will remain at Lazio until the end of his contract. I wouldn’t talk about bending. I remember a few years ago that he didn’t have a positive season, then the following one he scored 30 goals again. There may be years in which for various reasons it is not possible to perform so well from a numerical point of view. Ciro has demonstrated, continues to demonstrate and will demonstrate again that he is a great champion. I expect and he also expects to be able to still produce extraordinarily important numbers like he has done in the past and which have been missing this year, just as the Lazio players have also been missing at team level. I remember that the season at Borussia Dortmund Ciro did not have incredible numbers, yet he came from a year as top scorer in Serie A. Then the following year he started his journey again, obtaining extraordinary results from a sporting point of view which led him to the Golden Shoe. In my opinion it is only the case of one year, we all hope that he can excel again also because it is the role that belongs to him.
Redemption also in the national team?
I believe that Immobile doesn’t need to redeem himself from anything or prove anything. What he had to prove he has demonstrated all these years. He is absolutely attached to the blue shirt and his objective, if he were to go to the European Championships, is to give his best for Italy.
Saudi Arabia a threat?
I think that remains to be seen. We started with this very powerful summer session, with very important players. The winter market has had a downturn, but we expect there to be further fireworks. I wouldn’t say a threat, but an alternative and opportunity also for European clubs to have an additional market in which to produce finance. And many times European football leagues need capital and Arabia represents a frontier.
Champions?
It defines which are the richest teams that have the possibility of being more present on the market. There will be an economic and financial increase for the participants and we are happy about this.
