A long career, then the character of Lino in Mare Fuori.
The actor and photographer Antonio De Matteo was born in Caserta on 19 March 1978. Passionate about acting since childhood, he trained at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. His acting career began in the theater, where he still works, and he later achieved success thanks to several television roles. A love for his work as an actor, which allows him to always learn something from the lives of the characters he puts on stage. Experiences that he then also transmits in photography, which gives him the opportunity to immortalize the world from his point of view, with all the nuances and facets that strike him.
For cinema, Antonio De Matteo was part of important films such as Buongiorno, notte by Marco Bellocchio and Ocean’s Twelve by Steven Soderbergh. A role that he will also resume starting from June, when he will be on the set of the fifth season of the Rai fiction, which has now become a real cult for fans. Next month, Antonio De Matteo will then be in the cast of L’Arte della Gioia, the Sky series directed by Valeria Golino.
