The Promotion Consortium has won a tender for the organization and management of five events that will enliven the summer season of Piazza XXIV Maggio in Tonfano. In addition to the next weekend, the dates will be 1 and 2 June, 6 and 7 July, 3 and 4 August, 31 August and 1 September with the organization of themed weekends which will see the participation of numerous exhibitors and dedicated entertainment.

The calendar of initiatives will be inaugurated by two days entirely dedicated to art, which will enliven Piazza XXIV Maggio in Marina di Pietrasanta on Saturday 18 May from 11.00 to 22.00 and on Sunday 19 May from 9.00 to 20.00. Tonfano location.

For the occasion, some businesses in the square will set up their themed showcases, while there will be many initiatives that will take place during the two days. On display are intellectual works and artisanal artefacts, works by wood, ceramic and wax sculptors, paintings, Marguttiane on the road and impromptu paintings.

And also exhibitions by the children of the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara who will present their multimedia art works, photographs on display with a project dedicated to disabilities and readings of works by writers such as Pinocchio in Viaggio and the circle of life by Manola Caribotti, presented last April to the Senate of the Republic with the Tuscany Region.

Furthermore, for music, the Accademia delle Muse, Susanna Altemura School of Music will present the project The living room of Giacomo Puccini music, a real living room for discovering the magic of music through workshops suitable for children and adults with a novelty that concerns the little ones. In fact, there will be a space dedicated to children between 0 and 3 years old with many activities to stimulate listening and creativity with a special area which in the afternoon will offer educational workshops with collage, modeling and face painting activities together with the animation of Artemente and Viva events.

On Sunday, on the occasion of the centenary of Giacomo Puccini’s death, homage will be paid to the great master with a performance by the musical theater group “I Cantori di Burlamacco”.
