Valentin Paret-Peintre wins Stage 10 of the 2024 Giro d’Italia starting in Pompeii and finishing in Cusano Mutri (Bocca della Selva). The Frenchman won solo, behind Paret-Peintre came Bardet and Tratnik, 4th Bagioli.
At the end of the 142 km, Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) remains in the Maglia Rosa and leader of the general classification. Daniel Felipe Martinez (Bora – Hansgrohe) is 2’40” behind, with Geraint Thomas (Ineos Grenadiers) third at 2’58”. Pogacar still at the top of the classification of the Mountain Grand Prix and Maglia Azzurra, just as Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek), leader of the points classification, and the white one Cian Uijtdebroeks (Team Visma | Lease a Bike), in top of the youth rankings.
