A stretch of Via delle Poggiole in the hamlet of Lucciano (Quarrata) will be closed to traffic on 16 and 17 May from 8.30am to 5.30pm. The stretch affected is the one between via Cancherini and via della Gorga. The construction site, near number 240, was necessary to secure a section of wall that collapsed following the flood last November.
For those coming from Quarrata, once you arrive in via delle Poggiole, you will be required to turn right into via Cancherini. For those coming from Montemagno, at the intersection between via delle Prunaie and via delle Poggiole there will be an obligation to turn right into via della Gorga.
Motorists will find a road closure notice at the following intersections: Via Boschetti e Campano/Via Asiago, Via Montemagno/Via Boschetti e Campano, Via di Lucciano/Via delle Poggiole.
In the meantime, the administration has allocated, drawing on its own municipal funds, the sums necessary to carry out the restoration works on via Lucciano and via Lunga and Riacci. The relevant tasks have been entrusted to complete the design by the end of the summer, so as to be able to complete both road interventions by the end of October.
