Codigoro. The 5th edition of the Delta Festival concluded. On Saturday evening, 11 May, the final of the Golden Flamingo 2024 took place at the Arena Theater in Codigoro, the singing competition organized by Agua do Mar since 2017, now known even beyond regional borders with participants coming from all over the north Italy.
The one who took home the victory, resulting in a contract for the production and distribution of an unreleased single, was a local singer, eighteen-year-old Giulia Disarò from Ferrara, already second place in the last edition of the contest.
Silver Flamingo to the talented Giulia Guidi from Lugo di Romagna while third place (Bronze Flamingo) was awarded to Noemi Parrella, from Ravenna, with the stage name of Noaege.
The level of the 16 finalists who arrived in Codigoro, selected from the previous preliminaries held in the theaters of Ostellato, Comacchio, Adria and Lagosanto, was very high. Among them, the very young Alice Putaggio, from Pesaro, earned the “Special Audience Award” with a beautiful interpretation of “Cabaret” by Liza Minnelli.
For the “Children’s Talent” category, it must have been difficult for the jury to choose a winner among all the talented children competing. In the end it was little Anna Sole Dalmonte who won. In any case, the Festival organization wanted to reward all 11 little talents with a souvenir cup and a certificate of participation in the final.
During the evening, the 13-year-old Sara Ghinassi (winner of last year’s Chilfren’s Talent) and the Romagna singer-songwriter Ruggero Ricci performed, meeting the favor of the large audience present, who involved the spectators with his two new pieces already widely broadcast by the radio.
One of the funniest moments naturally occurred when the well-known comedian Duilio Pizzocchi took to the stage and thrilled and made everyone laugh with his gags and monologues.
As in all editions, the Flamingo was supported, as far as dance is concerned, by the dance troupe of Sara Parmiani, a close collaborator of the Agua do Mar entertainment initiatives for years and very faithful to the Festival del Delta.
With this beautiful epilogue, the Flamingo with the microphone stops singing until further notice. Sources close to the organization speak of a migration to other shores for the 2025 edition, but, obviously, we will keep you informed and updated.
