OLGIATE OLONA – Perhaps a stop sign not respected, even if the exact dynamics remain to be reconstructed, the cause of the accident which occurred at the intersection of via Diaz and Bixio. Two cars were involved: one ended up against the fence wall, the other literally overturned.
Dynamics to rebuild
The accident occurred today evening (Monday 13 May) shortly after 7pm. A young man aged 18 and a woman aged 27 were on board the cars. The emergency services, which immediately arrived at the scene of the impact, are still underway at the time of writing. Ambulance exit codes are in yellow. The firefighters also arrived at the intersection of the impact.
The dynamics still need to be reconstructed. What can be hypothesized is that the accident, having occurred right at the intersection, could have been caused by a stop sign not respected. That point, it must be said, is rather dangerous both for those traveling along via Direzione towards Prospiano and for those who have to enter a very busy artery. The fact is that this evening’s impact was quite violent given that one of the two cars overturned.
