Terziere Santa Maria Bravio wins at the 56th Corsa at the Narni Ring

The 56th edition of the Corsa all’Anello di Narni took place in the vibrant setting of Piazza dei Priori, full of Narni residents devoted to their Terzieri and tourists captivated by the atmosphere. This year, the Terziere Santa Maria won the Bravio 2024, entitled “The distance between me and the present”, a work by the artist Laura Santamaria.

The prestigious Mancinelli Scotti costume award was given to Anita Mascherucci, Lady of the Rings from the Terziere Santa Maria, while the Filippo Sini award went to Gianni Giombolini from the Terziere Mezule, a veteran in the field of black and white clarets.

The Terziere Fraporta stood out, receiving the Environment Award, while the Terziere Santa Maria was also awarded for the best interpretation of the medieval day and for the procession. The Music Prize was awarded to Terziere Fraporta.

Chief Prior Giuseppe Ratini and Prior Andrea Massarelli of Fraporta commented with joy on this victory, underlining the importance of teamwork and the dedication of each member of the team. They praised Jacopo Rossi for his extraordinary result, despite the difficulties he encountered after an accident, and praised the commitment and maturity of Luca Paterni and Leonardo Piciucchi. Special thanks were addressed to the managers Edoardo Secondi and Luca Saltimbanco for their constant support.

The Chief Prior of Santa Maria, Marco Matticari, expressed great satisfaction with the award, underlining how it is the result of a collective commitment and dedication of all the Contrada members of the Terziere. This recognition represents not only a celebration of tradition, but also an opportunity to build unity and solidarity within the Narni community.
