Another weekend without a film exceeding one million euros at the Italian box office: in fact, takings are still down compared to a year ago, with a total of only 4.1 million euros in four days. The absence of a Marvel film weighs heavily, as in the United States.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes leads the ranking, grossing 961 thousand euros and thanks to Wednesday’s release it rises to 1.1 million euros. This is a figure not too far from the 1.1 million (in four days) collected by The War – Planet of the Apes in 2017, but it was mid-July at the time. The film closed its run at 3.7 million overall.
