CAORLE – Fear in Brussa in Caorle this afternoon, Sunday 12 May, when shortly before 4pm a large house on an islet was devoured by flames. The same people who were on site called for help and managed to get away and save themselves before the flames prevented any escape route. The Mestre operations center mobilized the fire brigade rescue teams, which intervened from Portogruaro with two vehicles, from Udine and from Caorle with the group of volunteers. Also providing support was the Drago helicopter, which made at least fifteen launches to put out the high flames.
