The 2025 national referendum campaign of the CGIL also starts in the province of Caserta through the collection of signatures “For Work I put my Signature”. Yesterday morning the activists and union leaders of the Filcams Cgil of Terra di Lavoro were busy with the banquet at the Marcianise Weekly Fair and then, in the early afternoon, assemblies in the workplace and participation in an interesting initiative on the recomposition of the world of work. Finally, in the late afternoon, a representation from Filcams, led by the provincial secretary Vincent Bellopedeparticipated in the demonstration for Peace.
“Work in Italy is too precarious and wages are too low – states the CGIL manifesto. “Three people die working every day. To achieve the maximum possible profit, contracts, subcontracts, fake cooperatives, outsourcing of activities have become normal organizational models of every private and public company. The result of twenty years of wrong laws is a clear worsening of the living and working conditions of people who have to work to live. It’s time to rebel and change. Work must be protected because it is a constitutional right. It must be safe because you have to live and not die from work. It must be dignified and therefore well paid. It must be stable because precariousness is a loss of freedom. This is why we ask you to sign so we can then cancel some of these wrong laws through the referendum. Let’s sign it!”
