TRIESTE (ITALPRESS) – The medals won at the European junior gymnastics competitions confirm that Artistica 81 is a pride of Friuli Venezia Giulia and reward a 43-year dedication to the sport which produces both top results and a movement of great social and educational importance. This is the message that the governor Massimiliano Fedriga delivered in the Palace of the Region of Trieste, receiving the athletes returning from the European successes in Rimini: Benedetta Gava is the new youth champion on vault and Emma Puato the vice champion, both trained by Professor Diego Pecar.

The roof of Europe, the governor reflected, is the result of the commitment and planning of the partnership that the institutions defend and which is essential to continue to bring young people onto the path of sport as well as to continue to reap successes. For Gava and Puato it is a second medal, as they had already won the European team silver with the other Italians. The two athletes were accompanied by the president and vice-president of Artistica 81 Fulvio Bronzi and Roberto Pallini and by the coaches Diego Pecar and Teresa Macrì. Complimenting the girls for their laurels, the governor expressed his good luck to Artistica 81 for the next competitive commitment, the final six of the national championship scheduled in Florence on 25 and 26 May. photo: Friuli region press office Venezia Giulia (ITALPRESS). tvi/com 10-May-24 17:56 .
