Igor Tudor presented himself in the Formello press room at 3.00 pm and touched on various topics. The Croatian coach spoke about the season that Lazio is experiencing, the future and the match scheduled for Sunday 12 May at the Olimpico against Empoli. Below are his words:
What team do you expect on Sunday
“We worked well. There are three races left until the end, we want to continue this path we have started. The team was serious and focused, aware of the race. I saw beautiful things.”
The event of the 50th year since the ’74 scudetto
“The team and I are focused on the matches. There will be time for evaluations, we have not yet done any analysis on the market, for now we are only focused on the races. The past always inspires, especially from such successful teams. We need to valorise successes like those of ’74”.
After Monza
“We did an analysis as always, nothing more. We worked on what we didn’t like and confirmed what we liked. With little to go to the end we had three points in hand. I think the road is getting better, on Sunday we have to put in a great performance and take the points.”
Lazio lost 18 points from an advantage situation
“Since I arrived, Lazio are first in the table with Inter and Atalanta. I sign for the next ten years that we will do courses like this.”
Provedel
“Mandas worked well, Provedel is number one, he is coming back from a serious injury, he is not ready for the next match yet”.

“The defenders have trained. Gila will definitely be back against Inter, let’s see if he will be on the bench on Sunday.”
