Solidarity aperitif: meeting with Lilt on May 29th

The new appointment with the «Solidarity Aperitif» is for May 29th, from 6pm, as always in Fuoriluogo (near the court).
The journey into the rich world of volunteering in Asti, after Con Te, Avis and the Alpine Civil Protection, meets Lilt, Italian League for the Fight against Cancer.
Lilt’s objective is to spread a culture of prevention as a method of daily life, as a positive practice that involves the greatest number of people, guaranteeing a significant and constant increase in the cure of tumors. Also in Asti the Lilt (chaired by Bartolomeo Marino, emeritus head of surgery at the Asti hospital) promotes information on correct nutrition capable of preventing oncological diseases; physical activities to keep fit; correct information on risk factors: alcohol, smoking, drugs, excessive exposure to sunlight. One of the flagships of the association are the oncology prevention visits in clinics with specialized doctors. The meeting on Wednesday 29th will therefore be an opportunity to get to know this association and its activities closely.
The program
The meeting is open to all. After the presentation of the initiative, the microphone and the stage pass to the Lilt volunteers.
During the meeting you will be able to enjoy an aperitif prepared by the Fuoriluogo bartenders: the cost is 10 euros, half of which will be donated to the association, as a small testimony of solidarity and help. And the hope that the world of volunteering will find new supporters.
