This is the outcome of the accident which occurred shortly after 9.30 this morning. The victim is a man resident in Catania and died instantly, while the injured man, a man resident in Gerace, was transported conscious to the nearest hospital. The dynamics are not known, which are being examined by investigators, but it would appear that one of the two cars careened and then collided with the one coming from the opposite side.
