He met a citizen of Cento who was returning home in his car, and began to insult him and hit the vehicle with a stick. So he was arrested by the police for aggravated damage, resistance and injury to a public official.

The episode occurred on the evening of last Wednesday 8 May in Cento, when the soldiers of the Radiomobile Division of the Cento Company a twenty-four year old citizen arrested of Tunisian origins residing in the city of Guercino.
The man, after having hit the vehicle driven by the citizen of Cento with the stick, climbed onto the bonnet to kick the windshield until it broke. The unfortunate man immediately called 112, who immediately sent a ‘gazelle’. In the meantime, the twenty-four-year-old attacked the vehicle. The police identified theperpetrator of the damage thanks also to the indications of the victim.
When the soldiers approached and tried to calm him down, the twenty-four-year-old instead started insulting them and immediately afterwards lashed out at them, headbutting, punching and kicking them. The intervention of the two carabinieri was timely and professional and, to stop the impetuosity of the Tunisian citizen, they were forced to use stinging spray. Only in this way were they able to contain the man’s fury and handcuff him.
The motivation for so much anger and violence on the part of the man is inexplicable, and he was arrested for aggravated damage, resistance and injury to a public official. The man was then taken to his home under house arrest, awaiting the validation hearing as ordered by the deputy prosecutor on duty. On the morning of Friday 10 May, at the end of the hearing at the Court of Ferrara, the arrest was validated and the man was sentenced to eight months of imprisonment with a suspended sentence.
