Piano di Sorrento, fake accident to defraud the elderly: 22 year old arrested

Yet another attempted scam against an elderly person. The victim, this time, was an 80-year-old man from Piano di Sorrento. On the phone, a fake police marshal tells him that his son had hit a pregnant woman. Then, in another phone call, a supposed lawyer for the woman who was hit asks for compensation of 30 thousand euros.

But luckily the scammers are unmasked. In fact, the victim’s son arrives at the elderly man’s house before the money is delivered. The 80-year-old asks him for explanations and when they reconstruct that the phone calls are different they were nothing more than an attempted scamthey immediately call the police. Thus it is decided to frame the scammers.

An agreement is made to hand over the money but the military shows up at the meeting. This is how Sharon Russo is framed, 22 year old Neapolitan. He is now under house arrest, awaiting trial. She will have to answer for fraud.
