Containers placed on the periphery
Citizens are hereby informed that the new waste vegetable oil collection service for domestic use has been activated in the municipal area by “Ecopan Srl”.
The containers were installed at the following existing waste stations:
1 square in front of the cemetery;
2 waste collection stations in Stratola;
3 waste collection stations in the Manna area.
Oil (exclusively that used for food purposes: frying residues, deteriorated and expired oils and fats, oil residues from preserves and canned products) can be placed directly into the containers.
However, lubricants, mayonnaise, sauces, chemicals and other liquids cannot be delivered.
Please remember that the correct disposal of used oils is a fundamental practice for the protection of public health and the protection of the environment; now that the service is provided in a widespread manner throughout the municipal territory with clearly visible and easily accessible collection stations.
We trust in correct and constant use by citizens to transform an economic cost into a renewable resource that promotes the circular economy.
