In Reggio Calabria, road accident with one dead on the Statale 682 Jonio Tirreno, near the Limina tunnel
Reggio Calabria, 10 May 2024 – The state road 682 “Jonio Tirreno” was temporarily closed to traffic due to an accident that occurred inside the ‘Limina’ tunnel, at km 20, in the metropolitan city of Reggio Calabria.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident and one person died and another was injured. Traffic was diverted onto alternative roads. territory of the municipality of Mammola, and involved a Jeep Cherokee and an Opel Mokka which collided head-on for reasons currently under investigation.
