History Of Francesca Archibugifrom the novel by Elsa Morantewith Jasmine Trinca, Elio Germano, Asia Argentoyoung people Lorenzo Zurzolo, Francesco Zenga and with Valerio Mastandrea it is the Series of the year 2024: this was announced by the Italian Film Journalists (Sngci) who, for the fourth time in Naples, will award the Silver Ribbons to the winning titles in the most followed genres and to the protagonists most loved by the public.
The awards at ‘La Storia’
Written by Giulia Calenda, Ilaria Macchia, Francesco Piccolo, Francesca Archibugi (produced by Picomedia, in collaboration with Rai Fiction, in collaboration with Thalie Images), History will receive the awards for the direction of Francesca Archibugi, also screenwriter, for the screenplay, for the production and for the protagonists on Saturday 1st June in Naples on the final evening of the Film Journalists’ event with the Campania Region Film Commission, with the support of MiC – Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual, main sponsor Siae.
The vote for the best series
In the next few days, over one hundred film journalists will vote for the best among the finalist titles in five different narrative genres: Comedy, Crime, Drama, Dramedy and TV Film. For each series, with production, direction and screenplay, the value of the artistic and technical cast as a whole will also be considered. As per the Nastri d’Argento tradition, there are four five protagonist and non-protagonist actresses and actors who will enter the vote in the next few days. And in the story of the great fiction, the journalists will also choose the personalities of the year, figures who marked the season with the excellence and originality of their interpretations, to which prizes for the youngest talents will be added.
The titles in competition
With the winners chosen by journalists from among the candidate titles (series aired on networks and platforms from 1 May 2023 to 30 April 2024), once again the best of seriality will be the protagonist of the gala evening which will conclude the event at Palazzo Reale, on the stage of the Teatro di Corte. The 23 selected titles competing in the five categories (Disney+, Netflix, Paramount+, Prime Video, Rai and Sky) are, in alphabetical order, in the Comedy: Call my agent – Italy 2, Accidental gigolo, All we have left is the crime – The series, This world won’t make me bad, Life as Charles 2.
For what concern Crime there are five of them The bastards of Pizzofalcone 4, The clandestine – An investigator in Milan, The Fenoglio method – The cold summer, The King 2, Monterossi The series 2.
In the Drama they challenge Everyone’s fine at home 2, The Lions of Sicily, The long night – The fall of the Duce, Supersex, A summer ago.

In the Dramedy they are candidates AntoniaDoc – In your hands 3, Battle Study 2, A love, A professor 2. Finally, three titles compete for the Nastro d’Argento for the best TV movies: Daisy of the stars, Naples millionaire And Raul Gardini.
