Fire prevention 2024, ordinance signed

LADISPOLI – The summer season is arriving and the fire risk becomes higher. And so, like every year, the mayor signed the ordinance for the application of prevention measures linked to the risk of forest fires during the summer. In all areas of the Municipality at risk of vegetation fire or forest fire and in the immediate adjacent areas it is forbidden to: light fires of any kind; detonate mines or use explosives; use flame or electric tools to cut metals; use engines (except for those used to carry out authorized forestry work and not in conflict with the PMPF and other regulations in force), stoves or incinerators that produce sparks or embers; open or clear firebreaks with the use of fire; smoke, throw away matches, cigars or lit cigarettes or any other lit or embered material and carry out any other operation that could create an immediate or intermediate risk of fire; carry out pyrotechnic activities, light fireworks, launch rockets of any type and/or paper hot air balloons better known as flying lanterns equipped with open flames, as well as other pyrotechnic articles; stop or park above dry vegetation with vehicles with hot engines; transit and/or park vehicles on unpaved roads within wooded areas except for service vehicles and agro-forestry-pastoral activities in compliance with the rules and regulations in force; keep weeds and easily flammable waste in areas exposed to fires, especially near homes and buildings. Mayor Grando’s ordinance also addresses: the management companies of the Railways, Anas, water services management, Highways, Province, Reclamation Consortia; to business owners; to owners or tenants of agricultural land; to the owners of uncultivated land; to bodies and private individuals managing the maintenance, management and conservation of forests; to managers of storage companies.
