Investigations underway
Two other cars were destroyed by as many fires during the night in Sardinia: in both cases the malicious nature of the fire cannot be ruled out.
The first case occurred in Fonni, where a Fiat 16, parked in via San Pietro, caught fire. It belongs to a young woman resident in the town of Barbagia.
The alarm went off just before four in the morning. The 1A team of the Provincial Command of the Nuoro Fire Brigade intervened on site. After extinguishing the flames, he proceeded to clean up and make the area safe. The car was destroyed.
Immediately after the investigations by the judicial police to reconstruct the dynamics of the fire and above all the origin, which suggests an act of intimidation.

The other car was destroyed in Sassari, along Via Catoni, in the Sant’Orsola district. The firefighters from the city headquarters intervened around 2.40 this morning, following a report.
When the team arrived on site, the car was already engulfed in flames. The car was completely destroyed.
However, the fire brigade team prevented the flames from reaching other vehicles parked nearby.
The causes of the fire are still being investigated. The State Police also intervened on site.
