Journalist Giuseppe Liani has died.
The world of journalism is crying the disappearance of Giuseppe Lianiwhich took place today 9 May, at the age of 68 in a protected facility where he had been hospitalized for some time because he was ill. Journalist and writerLiani was a face and a historical voice of the Fvg Rai Tgr.
After obtaining the degree in philosophy and political science at the University of Trieste, Liani began his working career at the Industrial Association of Pordenone, and then embarked on the path in journalism. His first experience was at Corriere di Pordenone, affiliated to the Monti Group, followed by several years at Messaggero Veneto in Udine. In 1992, he joined the Rai’s G3 editorial office in Rome.
Subsequently, he was transferred to the regional editorial office of Friuli Venezia Giulia, based in Trieste, and then working in Udine until upon his retirement in 2016, due to the worsening of his health conditions.
In addition to his journalism career, Liani has had academic interests, covering the role of contract professor at the University of Trieste for several years, and has also left his mark in the world of non-fictionsigning numerous volumes related to history and politics. Politics had been a passion of his since he was very young, when he had served in the ranks of the Social Democratic Party.
