The Formula 1 and MotoGP season is already in full swing. An important piece of news has arrived for all fans. It will be operational in the coming weeks
From May to November, there won’t be a weekend without a race Formula 1 or MotoGP in the next few months until the conclusion of the respective World Cups scheduled for November and December.
The hope of fans of Formula 1 is to finally witness a more competitive year than the previous ones, dominated by Verstappen. The Dutchman from Red Bull is also setting the pace in the 2024 World Championship. However, both Sainz in Melbourne and Norris in Miami prevented him twice from climbing to the top step of the podium, almost an event in the recent history of F1 .
The fight for the is definitely more intriguing MotoGP World Championship with six drivers who can aspire to the title held by Pecco Bagnaia. In addition to the Ducati standard bearer, there are Jorge Martin (current leader of the standings), Enea Bastianini, the surprising Pedro Acosta and the revived Marc Marquez, finally back competitive on the Team Gresini Racing Ducati.
MotoGP and Formula 1, an important news from July
As all motorsport fans will know, both MotoGP and Formula 1 are a Sky exclusive which broadcasts all the events of the season live on Sky Sport MotoGP and Sky Sport Formula 1. There will also be some free-to-air live broadcasts on TV8 with all the MotoGP sprint races and some F1 GPs, including Imola and Monza. TV8 which also broadcasts Qualifying and Grand Prix deferred broadcast live on Sky.
To watch Formula 1 and MotoGP on Sky you need to subscribe to the Sports package which also includes a further series of exclusives such as all ATP/WTA Tennis tournaments, Basketball with the NBA and the Euroleague, Volleyball with all the international competitions for clubs and national teams, the other American sports (Hockey, NHL and Baseball MLB), Golf with the European Tour and the four Majors and Rugby with the Six Nations and Eurosport channels.
For all subscribers to the Sky Sports package, an important new feature is expected from 1 July when it will start a price increase of €6.90 per month for the Smart and Open price lists and €7.99 for those who are still subscribers with the old price list. Sky itself has already communicated the price change to customers with a note in the margin of the April invoices.
Below is how the price of the various price lists changes with the variation for the Sport package
- Smart from €16 to €22.90 per month
- Open from 20 to 26.90€ per month
- Old price list from €15.20 to €23.19 per month
In addition to Sport, Sky will also increase the cost of the Football package from 1 July with a change of €2.99 per month. The latter included three matches in Serie A, Champions-Europa and Conference League, Premier League, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie B and the next European football championships scheduled in Germany.
