Who saw it, turning point in the Pipitone case: shocking revelation by Sciarelli

By now everyone knows what has become one of the most famous cases of disappearance in Italy, full of twists and turns and which still creates bitterness and sorrow at the mere thought: the disappearance of Denise Pipitone on 1 September 2004 in Mazara del Vallo, in the province of Trapani, when the little girl, who was almost four years old at the time, was near her maternal grandmother’s house. There was a lot of news on the case, too thanks to the determination of his mother Piera Maggioas well as to the commitment of “Who has seen it?” of Federica Sciarelli in dealing with the case. But no one ever expected them to get back on the case even bedbugs. But what did Denise’s mother reveal?

The turning point of the bedbugs in the Pipitone case reopened by Who has seen it?

In the episode of Who has seen? aired yesterday, May 8th, there was talk of the new discovery which opens up new leads in Denise’s case, in light of the bedbugs that had been expertly placed in the little girl’s house. Connecting from her home, Piera Maggio, Denise’s mother, revealed the details on the discovery of two devices hidden inside some electrical sockets of his house. It seems that, according to what the woman revealed, they had been positioned in strategic points of the house: “When we found them they were very hot, probably working. They were installed inside the sockets, we found one in an outlet in the entrance hall and the other in the famous kitchen from which Denise came out before disappearing”. The Prosecutor’s Office therefore had to launch an investigation for violation of privacy. Although they cannot exclude the possibility that the positioning was carried out by the judicial authorities during previous investigations, it cannot be ruled out that the violation was carried out by private entities. “If the Prosecutor’s Office had recognized the bugs, if they were state property – added PIera – they would have told us. Instead they seized them and there are investigations underway. Perhaps someone has violated our home privately, it is shocking and abhorrent.”

The shocking revelations of Piera Maggio and Federica Sciarelli

But the news certainly doesn’t stop here, on the contrary. Piera Maggio continues by explaining that the problem also arises in the case of wiretaps for judicial investigations: “If bedbugs are installed for an investigation, they must have a beginning and an end […] They are welcome if they installed them to investigate, because my family has never had anything to hide. Now we need to understand if there was a direction, if anyone has been listening for who knows how long what was said in this house”. Then she remembers that it is not the first time something like this has happened to her: “We have found some in the past in private rooms“. Then Federica Sciarelli, in her office, adds a disturbing detail to give her a strong hand, recalling that Piera Maggio’s telephone communications were also monitored, with the Prosecutor’s Office having access to private conversations: “I was called by the Prosecutor’s Office and they read to me what Piera and I had said to each other on the phone”, explained the presenter.
