“Fine del Giorno”, the new LP by KLAUDIA CALL, is out on NOS Records/Believe.
NOS Records is pleased to announce the release of the new LP by Klaudia Call, a historic alternative band from Brindisi, active since the mid-nineties.
After the single “Zodiaco”, which anticipated the new album, “Fine del giorno” was released, distributed by Believe Music Italia.
2023 was the year of the recording comeback of Klaudia Call the tough Brindisi alternative rock band sung in Italian with over 20 years of experience, records produced and concerts behind them, first with the name Lova, a musical project that since the mid-nineties has broken more than a few hearts within the Apulian underground and beyond. From the ashes of Lova and from their copious discography, the historical nucleus of the group, formed by the guitarist and singer Alessandro Palazzo, the bassist Francesco di Coste and Alessandro Garramone on drums, gave life to the project Klaudia Callwhich throughout the 2000s consolidated the band’s tradition of Italian alternative rock with clear references to new wave and refined songwriting, producing an eponymous album, released in 2017 and two singles, Behind the door And I hate winter, published in 2018.
Four years after their last official record releases, Klaudia Call return with a new album which contains 10 unreleased tracks: End of the dayrecorded in the historic halls Pure rock studio by Nanni Surace, released on May 9th and of which Zodiac it was the first single released. A real small event for the Apulian alternative music scene, with the long-distance return of a band that has made the history of the musical genre and that also in this album of maturity manages to combine artistic coherence with the freshness of a proposal that is always current.
“We ‘worked’ on the songs of ‘End of the Day’ right away with the intention of creating an atmosphere, a feeling that united them. Like ten rooms, each with its own peculiarities but which inhabit the same house. So that even if the listener ‘moves’ from one room to another and finds one messy or another intimate and dark, he can always do so in slippers and without embarrassment. Trying to create ten honest snapshots, brutally honest, nothing more.”
“End of Day” it is also accompanied by the official video clip of the second single: “Non passeremo mai”, a song that comes from the backlash that we often manage to give thanks to the bonds that last a lifetime. There are sisters, brothers and great friends in every text image.
