From today, May 9th, until November 14th, families with students residing in Friuli Venezia Giulia have the opportunity to request the Psychologist Bonus. This support is part of a package of interventions aimed at promoting the psycho-physical well-being of students through specific professional consultancy.

The initiative, included in the 2024 stability law, provides for an allocation of 1 million and 500 thousand euros for the three-year period 2024-2026, thus marking an important turning point in support for the student community in the area.

Who can benefit from the bonus

The beneficiaries of the bonus are families that include students enrolled in lower and upper secondary schools, as well as in the Vocational Education and Training system (Iefp). This year’s innovation also extends the benefit to lower secondary school students, thus broadening the scope of this measure.

How does it work

The bonus covers 90% of the costs for five psychological counseling sessions, with a maximum contribution of 225 euros per student provided by the Region. Families are asked to cover a residual cost of 5 euros per session, for a total of 25 euros.

Request procedure

To claim the bonus, families must complete an online application. The link to access the form is available on the ARDIS website (www.ardis.fvg.it). In the case of minor students, the application must be submitted by a parent, while adult students can proceed independently.

Selection of psychologists

A list of accredited psychologists registered with the Order of Psychologists of Friuli Venezia Giulia is available for families, thus guaranteeing qualified support. The specialists are selected through an agreement that includes the Region, the Regional School Office and the local Association of Psychologists.

Release and use of the bonus

The bonus is released after a free information interview with the specialist. The selection of students takes place according to the order in which applications arrive at the ARDIS psychological support desks.

This initiative represents a significant step towards creating a more supportive and inclusive learning environment by recognizing the importance of mental health in students’ educational and personal development.
