Celebrating the meeting with the author and his fascinating stories

In the lively setting of the Baschi School, an atmosphere of excitement and curiosity pervaded the spaces while the sixth grade class and the fourth and fifth primary classes gathered for a special event: the meeting with the author Giuseppe Cantarini and the presentation of his book “The adventures of Gonzo and Giorgino at the devil’s caves”.

The hall was ringing with enthusiasm when Giuseppe Cantarini took the floor, taking the students on an emotional journey through the adventures of his protagonists. With his ability as a narrator, he enchanted the audience with the stories of Gonzo and Giorgino, transporting them into the mysterious devil’s caves and arousing laughter, surprises and many questions.

Alongside him, the painter Salvatore Ravo and the illustrator Aga Zawisza enriched the visual experience, bringing to life the characters and scenarios described in the pages of the book. Their artwork made the adventures of Gonzo and Giorgino tangible, stimulating the imagination of young readers.

The event saw the special participation of the mayor of Baschi, Damiano Bernardini, and the city councilor Federica Fedeli, who wanted to support and enhance this cultural initiative. The plexus coordinator, Professor Gaetano Dell’Anno, opened the meeting with words of welcome and thanks, underlining the importance of reading and meeting authors for the cultural and personal development of students.

In an atmosphere of celebration and learning, the meeting ended leaving in the hearts of the participants the desire to explore new worlds through reading and imagination but above all the depiction of friendship on a long white sheet of paper placed on the ground on which all the students brought their small but significant works of art to life.

The coordinator of the complex, Professor Gaetano Dell’Anno, wanted to express the most sincere thanks to Giuseppe Cantarini, Salvatore Ravo, Aga Zawisza and to all those who made this magical moment of meeting between author and readers possible. May the adventures of Gonzo and Giorgino continue to inspire and enchant young and old minds, always bringing new emotions and discoveries.
