After collecting from ASI (Italian Historic Automotoclub) The “Veterans Award” for the twenty-twenty-two edition, Mondovì and Motori – Weekend with the Old Ladiesreturns to win the coveted prize called “Golden Crank”. An important milestone, which best honors the great work done by the organizational staff, with the precious contribution of the daughter of the creator of the event, Nadia Garbolino.
A success for the event which every year attracts crews from every corner of Italy and Europe, all with beautiful cars, only pre-1940. A journey that began over ten years ago, under the will of Mario Garbolino, who will surely be proud of all this. An important objective, therefore, shared with the Club Vintage Wheels Riviera Dei Fiorialways alongside the Monregalese event, with the City of Mondovì and of course fromLa Funicolare Associationwho also worked hard to make the three-day event at the end of July a success.
An important step for the committee, which is working tirelessly for the 2024 edition, scheduled for i 19, 20 and 21 July next. The satisfaction and confidence in the near future is what emerges from the words of Nadia Garbolino: «I think it’s the best news that could have reached us in these first months of the new year. The Golden Crank is an important result, which demonstrates how much the organizational staff worked to maintain a high level of the event. An acknowledgment that I dedicate to my father Mario, who believed in this project for many years. In twenty-twenty-four we will reach the eighteenth edition, we hope it will be equally up to the task. We are working on it, we will provide some more detailed information shortly, but there are some important news. In closing I would like to thank all those who work to make the event a success, especially the Club Ruote D’Epoca Riviera Dei Fiori, the City of Mondovì, the La Funicolare Association and of course all the volunteers present.”

A note of merit also for the restoration project, which thanks to the passion of Enzo Garelli involves the children of the “CFP and Cigna-Baruffi-Garelli” institutes and the book series “La Storia Siamo Noi”, which every year fuels this important Monregalese event. I am confident that the twenty-twenty-fourth edition will also live up to expectations.”
A delegation from the committee was also a guest in the Municipality of Mondovì for the classic ritual photo with the “Golden Crank” won by the event.
