Anecdotes and background stories told by a great sports journalist who lived that era (as a reporter for Corriere dello Sport following Lazio) and those days, together with the protagonists, in the Tor di Quinto locker room and during training camps and away games. In addition, the detailed chronicle of the thirty championship matches in the appendix, to reconstruct the long journey of the Biancocelesti to win the historic trophy on the fiftieth anniversary.
